WELCOME TO THE OAKVILLE DISPUTE MEDIATORS INC. WEBSITE

Dispute Mediation is not new. The concept was pioneered by the Quakers in the U.S.A. and by the Menonite church in Canada. There are now over 30 community mediation groups in Canada, plus a growing number in our schools. Known generally as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), the concept is now recognized by police, courts, the legal profession, municipalities and schools. For more information on mediation, check out mediate.com.

Both parties must voluntarily agree to the mediation. A trained mediator, as a third neutral party, will facilitate communication between the parties and help them to find a solution to the dispute. Talks are strictly confidential.
